Welcome to the work of Suzi Ballenger

The studio is privately located in my home in the historic village of Peace Dale, RI. I have 2 floor looms and walls filled with sunlight and cones of unique, sustainable fibers with multiple colors of bamboo, natural linens, fine paper threads (yes, paper), pineapple, silk, wool, alpaca, and even copper and stainless steel. Often re-cycled and re-purposed, but always sophisticated and fun!

When I am not playing with looms and fibers and equipment, I can be found at: Saunderstown Weaving School, Saunderstown, RI with Norma Smayda; and Slater Mill Museum Community Guild Studio’s, Pawtucket, RI.
